Designing direction. Orchestrating emotion. Commanding imagination.
How Jet turned direction into a creative language—and a legacy in motion.
When Jet steps into a room, the air doesn’t shout—it hums. A low, electric charge of lived experience and artistic intent. He doesn’t just enter a space; he tunes it. Years of orchestrating vast arenas and intimate corporate launchpads have tuned his presence to a precise vibration. A practiced eye sweeps over immersive scenography, stage scaffolding, lighting grids, keynote decks—but what he sees first are the stories waiting to unfold.
Nearly thirty years of creative alchemy—from childhood stage sketches to real-time live, taped, and broadcast direction—have defined Jet’s quiet insistence: make people feel. Not through spectacle alone, but through spaces, sound, and emotional choreography. This is director-level craft with designer-level empathy: bold, strategic, theatrical, yet always intentional.
But Jet is more than a director. He is, in his own coined term, a Direxionist—someone who doesn’t just lead, but sculpts direction into form, flow, and feeling. Equal parts creative director, designer, and orchestrator, Jet sees every project as a multidimensional canvas.
As the Founding Chairman and Creative Director of DJTeam Inc., Jet turned a boutique production outfit into a powerhouse where brands don’t just appear—they resonate. Under his guidance, DJTeam—rooted in work that spans live spectacles, multimedia campaigns, and immersive brand communication—elevated events into narratives. The result? A portfolio that reads like a cultural scroll: from Great Bodies and Miss Bikini Philippines national stage to the the 47th Miss Intercontinental and Miss Earth Pre-Pageant global arenas to the P&G Philippines 75th‑anniversary gala, launched on ABS‑CBN, and even Manny Pacquiao’s victory concerts. These productions weren’t empty flash: they were emotional ecosystems curated to linger in collective memory.
His client list reads like a Philippine brand hall of fame: Ariel, Tide, Downy, Olay, Avène, Colgate, Canon, Manila Water, Sony, EMI Music, Smart, JCo, Pampers, Pantene, Whisper, Nestlé, and more. Add in national and global pageants like Great Bodies, Miss Earth, and Miss Intercontinental, plus visually spectacular events like Ariel & Bench’s 3D mapping fashion show, and it’s clear—Jet moves in scale with the precision of a sculptor.
Long before DJTeam became a household name in the creative scene, Jet was already honing his instinct for staging and storytelling. At VIVA Artists Agency’s Talent Development Center in the late ’90s, he directed and molded the flow of celebrity narratives. With DJTeam Special Projects (launched 2006) and the incorporation of DJTeam Inc. in 2010, he scaled that instinct into a creative empire—a team-driven force unified under his vision and the corporate slogan, #CelebrateLife.
Jet’s creative influence also extends beyond DJTeam. He currently serves as the Consulting Creative Director on retainer at TA-FBDI Advertising Corp, where he leads strategy and creative development for top-tier brands like Energizer, Eveready, Prestone, URC Flour, and Avène—spanning everything from content production and market positioning to nationwide rollouts and digital innovation.
As Creative Director at Large (per project) for Events & Shows, Inc., Jet has directed key brand experiences for Manila Water, the Canyon Group of Companies, Fontana Resorts and Casino, Fort Ilocandia Hotel and Resort, and PAGCOR.
He also collaborates with CDTI in a similar capacity, lending his directional vision to campaigns for QBE Philippines, Bonifacio High Streets, and EXL Philippines—each project benefiting from Jet’s distinct blend of visual storytelling, event architecture, and experiential flair.
An academic at heart with a creative soul, Jet is a strong management professional with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from De La Salle University – Manila. His passion for storytelling and production was refined through training in Stage Directing under the Harlequin Theatre Guild and La Salle Dance Troupe, and formally enhanced with a focused education in Digital Video Directing at the Mowelfund Film Institute. His creative foundation began at La Salle Green Hills, where early signs of his directing instinct began to emerge.
Jet also holds certifications in business and leadership innovation. In 2020, he completed FLEX – Foundations of Leadership Excellence under Innov8.org, strengthening his team leadership and organizational development expertise. In 2021, he graduated from The Entrepreneurial Spark’s SparkPlus Business & Leadership Program, sharpening his capabilities in creative strategy, production efficiency, and entrepreneurial execution—adding business firepower to his artistic instincts.
His innovations didn’t stop at stage edges. He launched BoxedCelebs+, a celebration-in-a-box concept built on Instagrammable experiences—stylish, social-good infused, and deliverable even by motorbike, supporting rural philanthropy. More recently, he co-founded KāKaPHé Philippines—pouring locally sourced cacao and coffee into sKream!, a Boracay-based soft-serve treat that tastes of place and imagination. In March 2025, Jet launched vÖyjx: a next-gen travel brand that’s part meme-lingo, part AI-curated journey, entirely experiential. “Not just a trip—it’s a vÖyjx!” embodies the brand’s manifesto-style worldview: purposeful travel as art.
Jet’s sanctum is a home and office built from his brainmap. Sketched in SketchUp, every curve and corner echoes lessons from his architect father, global travels, and live show staging. He views the world as a moodboard—gathering light, architecture, ritual, and atmosphere through research in flight, then weaving them into his next project.
The rhythms of Jet’s daily life mirror that mindset. He treats the studio like a gym, the gym like a temple. Five nights of weight training, HIIT, dance workouts, and dawnbow yoga form ritual battlegrounds where clarity is forged. It’s not vanity—it’s preparation. He needs stamina, creative and physical, to drive live events, long edits, design sprints, client negotiations, and mentor sessions.
And yet, all this ambition sits inside a home with warm corners and two gentle shadows at his feet—DeeDough the Golden Retriever, and Nathan the Chow Chow—quiet reminders that trust and loyalty matter as much as meticulous lighting cues.
Approaching 50, Jet isn’t nostalgic—he’s calibrated. He’s seasoned and masterful. His career is not a winding-down chapter but an intermission before the crescendo. His vision for global stage collaborations, immersive sensorial experiences, and creative curricula signals the next act: not just constructing standout moments, but building a legacy that teaches, scales, and inspires. Seasoned, not settled. He looks like he’s in his 30s, feels like he’s in his 30s, and thinks like a hungry 20-something—thanks to a lifestyle rooted in wellness, youthfulness, and unfiltered curiosity. Surrounded by young minds and new ideas, Jet doesn’t grow old—he evolves forward.
His next act is not a finale, but a reinvention. A masterclass in legacy-building. He envisions global stage collaborations, immersive sensorial experiences, and creative learning environments where his decades of direction can shape the next wave of creators. He’s not just producing events anymore—he’s designing a blueprint for scale, soul, and impact.
Because Jet doesn’t just light the stage—he builds the universe around it.
